Lately we have had a lot of clients desiring to send newsletters to their customers. We have tried to direct them to good resources on the subject, or help them to understand the caveats of email newsletters and the fine balance it takes between giving their customers what they want and not irritating them. We really enjoyed this article by Vitamin, so hopefully you will also!

There has been a lot of speculation about what Disco for the Mac application is going to be. I first found it on MacZot.com and actually paid for it before I even knew what it was.. yeah I know, not very smart, but I think it might actually be a good investment… I hope
It does look like it will have a good interface and the best guess of what the application does is that it’s a replacement for Toast, the application that burns CD’s, DVD’s etc, but with a better interface and hopefully more features.
Over at Wired News they talk have a story titled: Net Over Power Lines Gets FCC Nod
The United States is one step closer to jumping onto the internet through its electrical outlets.
The Federal Communications Commission has reaffirmed its intention to allow the implementation of broadband-over-power-line, or BPL, technology. It adopted a new announcement by Governor Pataki last week that $2.5 million is now available in grants for building internet infrastucture.
I think this will definitely increase adoption rates in the U.S. for broadband, everywhere year more and more of us are on the net in some fashion or another. What better way of getting on then using something you are very familiar with? Now the problem lies in will it be the electrical companies that oversee and sell to resellers? Then what will happen once they get into the business themselves and cut their prices insane amounts to where resellers can’t survive? Same thing that happened with DSL… Fun stuff.. Im very curious to see how this all plays out.
Ok not really, but your bed can sleep on air! Take a look at this new bed.
