The popular MySQL Database Administration Tool has released a new version today. Fixes include:
- XSS vulnerability from requests not containing a token
- Reenable XML option in Export
- State in documentation that your browser must accept cookies
- CVS link was broken on main page
Google Checkout
June 29th, 2006
Today Google released Google Checkout their answer to PayPal’s dominance in the processing arena.
It’s going to be quite an interesting experiment to see how well they do. They have a really great hook for merchants that use Adwords to market their business. For every $1 spent in Adwords you will receive $10 worth of credit card processing absolutely free, afterwards it is 2% + $0.20 per transaction which is still an excellent price!
